Join us in Shanghai to discuss about opportunities in Africa and Latin America

Ever since we published our 2019 predictions for Latin America, many of our friends in Asia have been keen to know more about the Latam market.

For those interested in deepening your understanding of the Latam market, Momentum Works is hosting a sharing session in Shanghai, with ex-Rocket Internet executive Fernando Azevedo Pinheiro as guest speaker.

Fernando was formerly co-founder and CEO for Brazil of EasyTaxi, with significant experience leading the early and growth stages of the Brazilian ride-hailing market.

He went to Africa in 2014, taking charge of the Jumia’s ride-hailing business line, which later covered markets from Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria to South Africa.

Later in 2016, Fernando established a second-hand C2B e-commerce platform CarZar.co.za in South Africa, a venture he exited in 2018.

Currently, he is one of the partners at MAR Ventures and is also the COO of Finpass, a Brazilian Fintech startup.
