Last week, we had a compilation about Fintech, which can be accessed here: https://bit.ly/TLD-Fintech

This week, our compilations focus on different investment opportunities in emerging markets to venture into. In particular, one of the biggest opportunities for startups is in the tech industry. In emerging markets, we look at opportunities in one of the fastest growing ones – India. While the opportunities are ripe for the taking, there are some characteristics of the market that investors should either leverage or take note of.

On another front, the reasons why Singapore had become established as a tech hub is discussed. We also include discussions on the investors behind Southeast Asian unicorns Grab and Gojek. This includes a breakdown of Gojek’s shareholders, as well as funding they’ve managed to raise. A breakdown of investors who have bought into Grab, which is perhaps the most invested unicorn in Southeast Asia, is also included.
