Less than one week to go before Momentum Works team goes to Wuzhen for a series of activities.

This is alongside the World Internet Conference and Expo, held annually at this historic town inbetween Shanghai and Hangzhou.

Last year

Last year, we saw all the gadgets, innovations and new paradigms. Many of the companies at the Summit were unknown outside China then, and have thus become very famous. These include Luckin Coffee, Shuidi and Zhihu. Many AI and smart city companies were also having big showcases.

We also made a lot of friends, had some good food, and enjoyed the town which was usually packed with tourists. (It was closed to tourists during the conference). The feature image of this post was our team with the biggest pot in the world ^_^

This year

The key highlight of Momentum Works’s participation this year, in addition to seeing all the innovation at one place, is our Smart City Forum linking Chinese and Southeast Asian stakeholders. This is happening on the afternoon of 19 Oct (Saturday), and check out the post below for details:

We will also organise a series of sharing sessions, private dinners and 1-2-1 meetings. We have 40 guests from Southeast Asia and Japan joining us this year – and you are welcome to join us if you happen to be in Wuzhen.
